What People Are Saying
“Since the winter of 2018, going into 2019, I have followed Toya Wright's journal challenges Write It Down. It has helped me to realize the importance of capturing my best ideas in their prime. My goal setting is getting better from writing them down and I feel more in tune with myself when I set aside time to recap and release my day. I would recommend this project to anyone seeking deeper personal accountability, intimacy, and commitment.”

“Toya and I was in alignment from the start. The words that popped out of the card spread was most fulfilling. I appreciate the follow-up email that helped me to further look into root words. The seven-day journaling prompt was an excellent feature to boost my appetite to do more writing.”

“The WID (Write it Down) series has been very beneficial to my journey in self love and overall growth. The series has especially helped me to become more organized as well as productive & on top of my game. Each journal entry prompt helps me discover parts of myself, helping me to understand who I am and those around me better. As I continue to grow and learn self, I use WID as a way to reflect and to redirect me in to the best version of myself.

It was very insightful. I appreciate that Toya allows you to come to your realizations of self with no influence or opinion. She aids in self-exploration and brings out the questions that you may need to ask yourself to come to clarify.”

“In January 2019, I took on Goldn.Light’s Audio Journal Challenge. A challenge it was indeed, but in the best way. While some prompts were fun, easy, and light-hearted, others were striking, emotional, and thought-provoking! Having to actually speak my responses out loud gave journaling a completely different feel. By the end of the challenge, I had learned so many things about myself—some things were positive, while others I need to work on. I had no idea that so much enlightenment could come from journaling!”

“Toya was very professional as well as supportive. She lead appropriately and was very clear on the work she was doing. It made for a very productive and effective meditation.”

“The write it down series has been a true blessing to me. It has given me the time to evaluate myself and what I’d like to do with my life and for my life. It has also given me the ability to write and track down my thoughts and organize them as well. The write it down series has given me topics that I never would’ve thought of to even face or confront but with her help I’m able to continuously evaluate and also plan my future. I give all praise to the Most High for the write it down series, it allows me to empty what is in my mind and place it on paper, and meditating on the thoughts that come forth. Being a part of the write it down series is a true blessing

“When Toya started her journaling exercises, I was excited, she was so enthusiastic about it & helped me see a different perspective on the importance of writing down your thoughts. I also loved the prompts she created because they helped us look at ourselves & our thoughts from a different angle, more solution-based. It really inspired me to be more consistent with my writing & more organized with it too. I’ve been able to apply these concepts when setting my new moon intentions, & when noting down my dreams I have at night. I’m so thankful! & Highly recommend anyone looking for a push in the right direction to check out all Goldn.Light has to offer.”
– Amunah
“Writing has become a challenge in my adulthood versus my childhood. With feeling so busy most of the time, I have gotten used to not writing things down. Actual pencil and paper writing. The Write it Down series (#WID) has reminded me of the feeling of getting those most inner thoughts out of myself. It reminded me how therapeutic it can be. With a busy schedule and so many other things going on, it has allowed me to take just a moment to reflect, breathe, and be raw with myself about whatever. I’m encouraged now to, at least, write once every week.”
- ZakarYah
“We live in a society where we are literally in a continuous loop just trying to survive. It is almost impossible to focus on self-growth. The #WIDSeries is a great way to carve out a little time to dig deeper and uncover things that you may have never thought about. I have used the #WID journal prompts from the series with loved ones to grow intimacy, gain understanding, and to bring closure to past disappointments.”

“Honestly, this has been the best thing that happened in 2020 for me! Over the last few years, I’ve really been sticking to myself to get to know who I am and what I’m looking for. I have had my mind on journaling for some time but was never sure how to make that happen. I’m usually a person to write a story, be told it 5-10 pages, but it has to be about something/someone else. The Write it Down Series has helped me begin to explore my thoughts and put them on paper versus thinking them, acknowledging them, and moving on without truly adding what’s happened to who I am as a person. I’m grateful for you allowing yourself to be used to share in the way you do and pray you to continue to be filled in the same way you encourage each of us to find that fulfillment in ourselves!”

“For a while, back in school, I used to journal .. wildly unorganized. I then asked the universe to send me journal prompts so I could find structure in my writing! A few years later I loved finding Toya’s doing them with the WID series. I have not only found structure but solace in someone else releasing how THEY felt too.. it was magical!! I did all of the 2020s prompts at the beginning of the year 2021 & I found some magical way to slide manifesting in there .. it was sweet! I love journaling with source! I love to WRITE IT DOWN!”

“I am so grateful to have found Goldn.Light. Latoya has cultivated a full suite of resources (journal prompts, videos, worksheets, self-care cards, and more!…) that have harmoniously supported my self-care. Latoya’s Write it Down (WID) journal prompts have helped me to be more curious and excited to get to know myself. I love the element of accountability and actionability mixed into her prompts – Latoya gives you a great balance of reminders to both slow down and step up so that you can realize your full potential as an individual and supportive community member.”
